The music keeps flowing; easy to search for music, once you have made a selection the music keeps flowing like a radio, this app is great

great app to listen to newest music!

I really love using 8 tracks. The only thing thats missing is the channels that I frequiently use be at the top of the list.

After a song has finished playing, it will play again as if it was the only song in the playlist. Manually skipping the track will change the song, but of course I only have a limited number of skips. Otherwise, a decent app.

Great mixes. Easy searching. Its currently my ideal way to play music. Itd be nice if we can somehow access the webpage from this application. I want to favourite some of the mixes to save it.

This is an awesome app and I use it all the time, but I wish there was a way I could log in to my account so I could see my Liked mixes.

I love 8 tracks. It lets me listen to any kind of music. It is very good to find a relaxed mix to study/work. Highly recommended.

Love this music app! It just blows me away. The music is awesome. It would be better if I can have my favourite list and add songs whenever I want.

I have to be honest.. I just installed it the 8 tracks app hoping that I wouldnt have to keep using the internet version, only to realize that you cant access your liked mixes. Its nice and convient thats for sure. But Hoping to gain access to my account soon!

Love being able to listen to it on my laptop! Super cool and easy to use. Only thing is you can’t favourite songs or like playlists to find later like you can on the phone app, and you can’t see history of playlists you’ve already listened to. You also can’t link it to your 8 tracks account.

Previously, the app used less resources than the website. Now the app is an unbearable cpu hog :/ Plus: Collections are not working at all! :( Otherwise: Keep up the good work! :)

I really like this app, but I wish I could sign into it so it had my favorite playlists at the top of the list and so I could favorite tracks. Further, it sometimes will just stop randomly and I will have to change playlists to get it running again. Other than that it is really nice to have and awesome for studying!

doesnt start now. Went through How-To-Airplay/Intro and crashed afterwards. Restart results in immediate crashing. This is annoying. (Mountain Lion)

The play button gets confused with iTunes, so if you try to pause 8tracks, then itunes starts playing. Also, they dont allow for you to log in to your 8 tracks account and favourite playlists/find recently heard mixes. Other than that it is OK, plays music effectively and is nicely tucked away in the top of the screen. Just not quite as nice as using regular 8tracks!

Blocks you from accessing many free 8tracks features unless you buy a $4.99 SUBSCRIPTION from THEIR side.

You can’t log into your account, or search for names of mixes, people, or anything that isn’t a tag like “chill”, “pop”, etc. It’s also annoying that you can’t access your mixes, or your favourite mixes, nor can you favourite mixes. The only reason I use this opposed to 8tracks on the web is because I enjoy being able to use the apple media buttons while listening to music when I study. Otherwise, I wouldn’t suggest wasting room on your Mac with this app.

you should structure this app more like the one for ipad and iPhone i cannot even save my favourite play lists which is super annoying

I have this app on my macbook and its so convenient! Love the playlists but the only thing I would change is having my most listened to and liked tracks accessible.
