All the web features are there… for $5. I don’t see any reason to use this instead of the web app.

This is now a viable replacement to the website. However, I find it annoying that they removed the functionality of the app from the menu-bar (and that it’s now an app that appears in your dock). It would be much better if users could hide the dock icon and get the basic like-favourite-skip-pause functionality from the menubar. Customizable hotkeys for these actions would be good too!

The features in the app are unusable without upgrading to pro. This is not the best way to run a freemuim model. It would be awesome if you could rethink what features and value would require an premium upgrade, not normal functionality that is available in the online version. *Funtionality issue: Stream stops playing randomly with stable connection.. I love this service and would be willing to pay for great features, but this app has really taken me a step back. I sure you guys will deliever and amazing experience soon.

I have AirPlay speakers which I cannot use with this app. :(

I enjoy this app! I used the webpage regualrly before using this application, i enjoy both! I really enjoy being able to play/pause and skip tracks directly from the top bar!

I have 8 tracks on my phone, and I love it. I use it all the time. However, the mac application is a joke. You have to upgrade to pro just to see your liked playlists, or even your listening history!! What a sham. I am uninstalling.

Do not make this update. Huge bug in it.

App freezes after 2-3 songs and unexpectedly closes.

Why force people to pay for options that are free on the website? It’s incredibly inconsistent and non-sensical from a service perspective.

The app has great potential, however it is incredibly irrational that in order to have the options available on their website, we have to pay 5$. I would gladly pay 1$ but 5$ for what your website can offer for free? No thanks.

I’ve always loved using 8 tracks and when i found out I could have ther app on my laptop too i had to have it. Then i found out i needed the pro version to have full access. Considering how much i love 8 tracks i didnt even think twice about buying the pro version. BUT now everytime i open the app it crashes immediatetly. PLEASE fix this problem. im not a paying loyal customer for no reason...

It freezes adn doesn’t load playlists

entire app is frozen. Songs continue but the UI is frozen. The buttons work but the screen doesn’t change at all.

Works normally until I play a soundtrack. It the freezes and i cannot do anythin about it. In can play/pause from the icone in the uperscreen bar and that’s about it. Otherwise i have to close it and open it again…

can’t login with Google account, so I cannot use this app!! Please add this option. Now you make us login to use it, but it doesn’t let me log in with my social media account. I can’t even make another account because i already used my google email. FIX PLEASE!

The app will not allow me to type anything into the search bar and so I can’t find any new playlists. I have tried restarting the app and my computer many times with no success. I really like 8tracks on both the iphone app and desktop app, so it was disappointing.

Initially I gave this app 3 stars, but with the latest version I’m bumping it down to 1. It simply does not work. I subscribed for the paid plan, but the app does not recognize my account. I tried logging out and in again, but can no longer enter my username and password as the app does not retain focus in the textfields. It feels as though the developers made zero effort in testing their product, which makes me feel like this is an afterthought not a serious aim at providing a good expirience on the desktop. If they fix stability issues I’d be happy bumping the rating.

it is very neat indeed. and tag search thing is awesome but i want to save the playlists i played , not possible? not account login ?

Good app with premium* One thing…. I can’t see names of tracks of played playlist. On site after track played u can see names of all listened tracks& Here u can’t. Fix it pls
