8tracks Radio App Reviews

I like the app very much and instantly upgrade this. Definetly worth the price. Free version is also good too but if you want to achive all of the 8track radio features. If you are sick of same musics on other platforms go for 8tracks and this app is the best tool for quick access.

After this update I can’t play anything but the current playlist, any attempt to start playing a different playlist result in the app immediate quit. Same with clicking anything really

Nice to see an 8tracks app specifically for OS X. I have it for my iPhone as well and really enjoy this music client. Only thing missing from this app is a way to show full screen, but otherwise it works fine.

It is possible to choose many different styles and rhythms. Nice and easy to ear. I recommend

good app but it woud be nice to be able to sign in so I can access my favourites

The app is really beautiful and well finished (on a non retina Mac). I only wish it supports the keyboard’s media keys (<< PLAY/PAUSE >>) like VLC does :)

Strange that you can’t sign in to this app… but i’m glade to finally see it!! i’ve been waiting for this morph out of the browser into it’s own little web app… too bad it’s not that functional.

Love the convenience and the interface. Although, in the future I would love to see a way to connect to your personalized 8tracks account so that it is even better! Other than that thought, I definitely recommend it.

I like using 8tracks but I have a collection of mixes that are my go-to and on the app theres no signing into your account and you cant choose to "like" or "favourite" mixes. Definitely something worth looking into to improve the app.

Can sign in to see my favorited playlists. I have to manually search for them by tags. I know the playlist I want to listen to, but I can’t search for it. frustrating.

File this under “why bother?”. 8tracks is a great service, I have the mobile app on my iPhone which is awesome. This verison of the desktop app does not allow you to sign in, or save any mixes. So you need to search for them manually every time. Just use the web version until they update this. I don’t know why they would bother even making this app without the ability to sign into your account.

I love 8tracks, but what really bummed me out about this app is the fact that you can’t sign in to your account. Trying to find the playlists I listen too is nearly impossible.. Please update!!!!

I love 8 tracks, I’ve been using it to study since forever, but I only just got the app. The only thing that would be nice would be to be able to view the tracklist of the songs that have already played, like you can online or on your phone.

The app functions well. But you can’t sign into your 8tracks account, and it is very difficult to find a specific playlist as you can only search by the tags, and not by account name or playlist name. This should be put into the next version for sure.

I like this version of 8tracks. It tucks away neatly in the top menu and the interface is easy to use. The mixes are always fresh, but favourites easy to find too. Sometimes the music stops and buffers without explanation, but that might be my internet connection.

I like how you can skip and change with ease. But I would like a easy way to make your own track with all the songs that you’ve liked and collected over the time with ease. But other then that, I really like it :D

Overall a good app but there are bugs where you can’t search by genre or intruments on my Mac (new retina 13 inch). Works fine on iphone and ipad.
